Audience Feedback Questionnaire

I have composed a few questions in a questionnaire for some of my audience to complete.

Did you understand the narrative of the film?

Did you expect the male protagonist to eat the first female character?

How did you feel when you found out the male protagonist was a cannibal?

What emotions did you feel towards the female characters?

What emotions did you feel towards the male character?

How did the second piece of music make you feel?

Were there any indications, in the first part of the film, to suggest that something wasn’t right?

What aspects did you like and dislike about the way the film was created?

How do you think the film could be improved?

I filmed two spectators response to the questionnaire.

Poster for my Film

I have used this shot because it is alluring and would entice an audience to watch the film because of the juxtaposition between two facial expressions. Audiences would ponder as to why she was happy and he looked sinister. Also the desaturation and increased shadows adds to the sinister feeling about the poster. I used red text to juxtapose the optimistic language used in the title and it screams danger.

The poster suggests that the film contains conventions of a horror film. This is what i intended because it advises that the idea of the film will not suit people that do not like strong themes. I would like to keep the storyline of the film a secret so that the realisation that he is eating her is mor effective.

This poster resembles more of an Arthouse film which was my aim, and focuses the attention on my niche marketing audeince rather than aiming to appeal to a large Blockbuster audience.
